Introduction

Psychology, strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship: now AI × Relational Intelligence.

I've spent my career studying systems. I keep coming back to people. Across each chapter the subject underneath the work has stayed consistent: how people make decisions, form trust, coordinate and relate to one another inside systems.

Experiments

A question I've been testing

What happens when we use technology not to replace relationships, but to understand and strengthen them?

I've explored that question through different products, users and markets.

First

Stage 01

Close relationships

Can technology help people invest in the relationships they already value?

The work began as a consumer experiment around close relationships: a social product built around meaningful interaction rather than attention or follower growth.

What I learned

People say they want deeper connection. Changing the behaviour around it is much harder.

Then

Stage 02

Communities

Can AI show community leaders where belonging is forming, and where it is quietly breaking?

The question moved from individuals to groups: whether relational signals inside community systems could tell leaders something useful about participation, belonging and drift.

What I learned

Those relational signals already exist. Almost nothing was turning them into judgment.

Next

Stage 03

Relationship-led businesses

What happens when the relationship at stake is also the commercial relationship?

That led to research with relationship-led businesses, where trust, context and judgment remain central even as AI automates more of the surrounding work.

What I learned

In this work, trust and context are the work.

Now

Stage 04

Relational intelligence platform

Where should AI act, and where does human attention still decide the outcome, for client service businesses?

A continuous relational-intelligence loop for client service businesses. See, prioritise, act, learn. A loop that keeps a relationship in focus.

The products changed. The question became sharper.
